We help clients write, submit, and secure grants which provide the financial resources that are crucial to the implementation of programs and projects. Whether it's needed for pilot funding or ongoing support, grants promote the development of community-based initiatives that create positive changes in society.

GLADUE REPORTS

We write pre-sentencing and bail hearing reports written specifically for Indigenous individuals whom are interacting with the justice system under Section 718.2(e) of the Criminal Code of Canada, also known as Gladue Reports. These reports provide judges with specific background information on factors inherent to the individual that should be examined when considering sentencing options. Gladue Reports are intended to provide a judge with reasonable options for a meaningful sentence; Gladue factors include effects of the Residential School system, family history of mental health and/or addictions issues, contact with the child welfare system, effects of the dispossession and/or dislocation of Indigenous people, and other factors.
